Teeth for Life

At Smile Cape Coral, we want to make sure our patients get the most out of office visits, and that their teeth stay healthy for life! We'll work with you to ensure you receive comprehensive dental care.  We will provide you with the tools to have your best oral health by teaching you how to maintain your smile at home with the right dental products for you and your family.

Dental Cleanings and Regular Checkups

Regular dental checkups are an important part of maintaining your oral health. During your regular checkup, your dentist will:

  • Check for any problems that you may not see or feel
  • Look for cavities or any other signs of tooth decay
  • Inspect your teeth and gums for gingivitis and signs of periodontal disease

Regular cleanings are also critical in maintaining your best oral health and having your best smile.  During your routine cleaning, your dental hygienist will provide a thorough teeth cleaning, rinse, and polish.

Visiting the dentist every six months gives you the opportunity to check in with your dentist with any questions or concerns you may have about your oral health. Checkups are also a great way for you to find out about new treatments that may benefit your smile.

Selecting the Best Toothpaste and Toothbrush for You

To maintain your smile between visits, it is important to choose the right products. When choosing among toothpastes and toothbrushes, be sure to look for one that has been approved by the American Dental Association (ADA). Your dentist and your dental hygienist can also help by recommending certain dental products for use at home.
